About Us

Kim Licki/NOLAKim PA

Kim has been reading since she can remember, hiding under the sheets with a flashlight as a kid and sneaking her e-reader into sports events as an adult. You might think she’s scrolling social media on her phone; she’s not. She’s reading and ignoring the fact that she’s in public.

She recently moved from her beloved New Orleans, Louisiana (that’s where the NOLA in NOLAKim PA comes from) to Richmond, Virginia where she was shocked to discover that autumn actually exists.

Before focusing full-time on providing author services, Kim spent twenty-one years as a special education teacher in a public school system in the greater New Orleans area. Constantly having to think on her feet and come up with new strategies to reach success has made her a very adaptable PA.

She says ‘y’all’ entirely too much, gasps whenever she sees a dog, and is known to terrorize her friends with king cake baby gifs.

Favorite genre: romance
Favorite thing about work: beta reading
Loves: learning new things

Rachel Cressin/RVARach PA

Rachel’s love of reading started at an early age. Upon receiving her first library card at age 5 and developing an obsession with a book about starfish, she never looked back . She is rarely seen without a book, always taking one wherever she goes.

With a career focused on working with children before moving into the administrative professional world, Rachel is well versed on managing busy schedules and helping coordinate efficient workflows. These skills have parlayed nicely into working with authors as a PA.

When not working or reading, Rachel can usually be found in the nearest coffee shop, tattoo parlor, or baseball stadium.

Favorite genre: romance, mystery, sci-fi
Favorite thing about work: helping people and projects get organized so authors can focus on authoring!
Loves: picking up new skills while honing existing ones

Sandy Bennett/SandyB

Sandy’s earliest reading memories are of devouring her mom’s series romances and her dad’s complete collection of Agatha Christie mass market paperbacks. The parental attitude was – if it’s too old for you, you’ll get bored. This probably was not a good attitude to have, but she uses the same with her kids. No serial killers yet.

After decades of corralling faculty and proofreading dissertations and research articles, she decided to go back to her first love and now happily reads, evaluates, and edits all sorts of genre fiction.

When not reading books, talking about books, editing books, or dreaming about books, she’s usually doing something with her family – like convincing them to try that one great book she just finished reading. Or she’s watching hockey.

Favorite genre: romance, mystery, romantic suspense
Favorite thing about work: helping clients get the book in their brain onto the page in its best form.
Loves: tacos. IYKYK
